Animals, plants, and all the places and spaces they call home make up the rich variety of life on Earth – known as biodiversity. And this is what helps keep our magnificent shared home intact. But today we’re losing biodiversity – and quickly .

Right now, over 1 million plant and animal species are threatened with extinction. We’ve already lost half of the world’s corals and lose forest areas the size of 27 football fields every minute. So what exactly is driving this devastating biodiversity loss? And what can we do – together – to turn things around?
