- On Saturday 24th September, the RNT organized a charity dinner event at the Serbian Centre, 89, Lancaster Road, London. A complimentary glass of rakija courtesy of Zubor sa Kablara was offered on arrival. Zoran and Andjela entertained our guests all evening with fabulous Serbian songs. A raffle was also organized during the night
All guests enjoyed themselves tremendously with delicious food and a warm atmosphere enlightened the whole evening.
We raised a total amount of £1,534.
100% of all proceedings will go to support our project with the Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj School, Pancevo.
The RNT is very grateful to all its generous friends and supporters who prepared and donated all the food for this event, Mrs Zvezdana Pavicevic & family & Mugi for the main, Mrs Odette Mir for most starters, Mrs Vida Milojkovic, Mr Eric Hilcenko and Miss Aleksandra Vancevska for the desserts, Mrs Dushka Dejanovic, Mrs Jelka Laketic, Mrs Jasna Adams for further starters, also to Mr Mladen Jovasevic for kindly providing Zubor sa Kablara rakija to welcome our guests, to Zoran & Andjela for the lovely entertainement and for donating a private entertainment session for the raffle, Mrs Slavica Plemic for generously donating all paintings available at the raffle, Mrs Florence Bachelard-Bakal, Miss Aleksandra Vancevska and Mrs Gorana Sipetic who generously donated some of the raffle prizes, Mrs Skye McGuinness who donated the two lovely bouquets, Mrs Sharon Hellyer who kindly contributed to the table flowers arrangements. And a massive thanks to Mr Marko Gasic for letting us use the Serbian Centre free of charge, to the staff of the bar, Zoran and Dragana, for being there and make the evening as smooth as possible.
A massive thank you to Mrs Dushka Dejanovic, Mrs Odette and Mr Fiaz Mir for not only coming early to help with the setting up but also preparing some food, Mrs Florence Bachelard-Bakal and Mr Eric Hilcenko to help setting up the room for the event and their help during the whole evening.
